Personal Trainers on Duty?? - Okay yesterday was the PTs' Birthday they turned 10. It seems as if birthdays (except mine) trump personal training efforts. I was actually able to eat cake and I wasn't even questioned! So if I am going to meet my goal, I'm going to have to put in a little extra effort. I realize that most personal trainers get paid to do their job, so in this case I have decided to pay $1 per day for personal training for each job. Every time PT 1 encourages me to exercise he'll get a dollar and the same for PT 2 each time she makes my lunch she'll get a dollar! So that my offer but since most agreements should be in writing, I'm not going to start paying until they accept via Drop 20, when I see their response I'll consider the agreement good and proceed from there ( I have yet to see them turn down money). Anyways I think go have a piece of cake while I wait.

570 vs 2 miles: Did you know that a deluxe combo burrito from del taco has 570 calories!!! I was astounded, I thought it would be much lower, I guess that takes another food item off the summer eating list. On the brighter side I jogged 2 miles the other day and it felt good, so I must be making some progress, I just don't see it yet, still stable at 154 lbs.

5 laps and counting: Today we went running again, I actually walked one lap jogged three and ran one. Not bad for this stage in the game. Speaking of the game I swam 250 meters last Friday, and had fruit instead of French fries with my sandwich today at lunch. Surprise! It wasn't that bad!

The Un-Birthday Cake: Well we had my birthday dinner at Red Lobster on Tuesday and I was not allowed to have any cake! I was though allowed to have crab legs which weren't that good anyways. The day before though I was allowed a "sliver" (1 inch by 2 inch) piece of cake for the 4th of July, after swimming 6 laps in the pool. After all that the effort seems to be paying off I officially weighed in this morning at 156lb verified by PT1!! So now it's just persistance, and exercise we are up to 20 push ups and sits per day this week. On ward and down ward (weight that is).

Joggin and basketball - We went jogging again today the 6 day in a row! Impressive for a family that never exercised before. Mom is leading the way, she has actually been jogging a mile each day, I on the other hand was just able to work up to 3/4 of a mile and walking 1/4. Way to go mom. PT1 and Mom also beat PT2 and myself at basketball., the running total is 2 games to 1 well get them next time. Still no change in the weight yet though, which is debatable, I think I lost a pound others are saying I'm not reading the scale right, time will tell.
