Working Hard
We just finished getting back from the school track where we have been running a mile everyday since Saturday, talk about a workout!!!!Also today we played a bit of basketball, and me & the test material won against PT 1 & the observer. the distractor was truly the distractor during that game, he demanded at bringing the observer out of the game that is probaly why we won. But PT 1 put up a good fight, it was 4-4 and we made a shot and it was then 6-4, so we won!

P.S. I think my dad got a VERY good workout.

Okay here it is:
- Monday, He had to go to his Fontana Rotary club at 12:15, so he had lunch there.
- Tuesday, Celery, Peanut butter, And a granola bar.
- Wednesday, a Peach, a banana, carrots, and a granola bar.(correct me if I'm wrong, dad. Were shooting for facts, not myths!)
- Thursday,Same thing as yesterday but he traded those carrots for celery.

Lunch - Okay thank you PT 2 for creating such a wonderful lunch, although I substituted a "small" chicken sandwich at Jacks for the peanut butter you gave me which I'm sure you very carefully measured. The sandwich was only 404 calories, the peanut butter would have been 190 so it was actually only 214 more! and I didn't eat the egg yoke, I only ate the white part so I gained some there too. Thanks for the lunch.

3736- The number of steps I took around the track and playing Basketball. What PT 1 doesn't realize is that someone has to watch the distractor and since no one volunteers, dad gets the joy of the duty, and the distractor is not a very fast walker. Considering I did one whole lap with 20 extra lbs on my shoulders that ought to be worth something I would think. PT 2 has already made tomorrows lunch and left me notes on the door to not forget it and I get to have Yogurt for breakfast, yummy!
Not much today
Today really had nothing to do with me. Just PT 1. Here's what we did:

He had a box of supposedly, healthy, cereal. And for lunch...............BUSTED!!! His punishment was the walk. He had a Hamburger!!!!!!!And were going up to the mountains to a friend of my dad's house. And if he has steak for dinner (the friend might make it)He is not even eating tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.75 of 1/4 - That's about how long it took me before I was breathing sooooo hard I had to quit the race. I lost to PT1 in a quarter mile sprint today, in 90 degree temps. I stayed about one yard behind him (you know drafting), planning to pour it on in the end. Just about the time when I should have "poured" it on is about when I went from "running" (if you can call it that) too slower than a crawl as I watched PT 1 pull ahead to the finish line. New goal be able to beat PT 1 in a quarter mile by end of summer!

Burn Baby Burn - Hey PT 1 I found a chart that will help you determine what kind of exercises I should do to burn the optimum amount of calories. As far as I can tell I just burned 4 calories in the two minutes it took for me write this post! Eat that.
Calorie Counts - Hey PT 2 check out this food chart for a chart of over 1000 foods you can either approve or disapprove!
Too Much Grass - I mean green stuff by the way of lettuce. Two salads in two days I don't think I've eaten that many salads in a month at least not in a row. Okay so now we are calorie counting and setting up an exercise routine I think PT1 has been somewhat quiet on the subject, although he has been tempting me with boxes of Hostess Ding Dongs! I pulled some weeds yesterday in the Back yard that should be worth some exercise points right?
El Pollo Loco
Me & my dad have decided he is only allowed 1,500 calories a day, So far we are up to 1,000 calories. That only leaves 500 calories for dinner. I also have told him the only sweet he is allowed to eat 'till Labor Day. It is Sherbert Icecream, a good treat, only 110 calories!!!!He can have any flavor sherbert. I like sherbert ice cream to! Here's what he had for breakfast: Oatmeal with brown sugar, and toast with butter. And for lunch, Classic chicken burrito(correct me if I'm wrong, dad!).Also he has bought a step counter, so he can count his walks.(I still think PT 1 is not doing a good job).He should have exercised a little bit last night, but did he?!NO!!

You ate good, but you didn't swim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(Oh well guys, I can't bust him I'm not PT 1, and he came up with a good excuse: He couldn't find time to leave the office) He ate eggs & hash browns and avoided the bacon for breakfast, & for lunch he had a chicken salad. Saturday afternoon we plan to go on a bike ride, just the test material and me. Good exercise. ~PT 2

Weighing In
Okay incase any one was wondering the current weight is 160 and has been stable for about three months after RISING to that point. So today I did eat a Chefs salad (the Turkey was dry) and did three + laps around Knott's bery farm that ought to be worth something. My goal for tomorrow swim 100 meters. Still waiting for both aa accepted food list and exercise plan.

PT 2 Reports My Dad had a Chef's salad, or better have had one other wise he is going on a bike ride when he gets home. No matter what, he is going to exercise today, I don't think PT 1 is doing a good job of developing a exercise plan. Maybe I'll go on a bike ride with my dad even if he did eat his salad! Bike riding is such good exercise, and it's fun!!!!!!

Personal Trainer #2
My Dad took a challenge on.
A good challenge.
A challenge I have been waiting for ages!
The challenge is, um.................................um.........um..............uh.............Oh, Yeah! He's supposed to lose 20 lbs. Before Labor Day. He started Fathers day. He was supposed to start on Fathers day, but did he?! NO!!!!!!!! He had to have his precious stale, oreo cookie, and his steak kabobs! Do you know how many calories that probaly was? That probaly set us back, like, 24 hours, do you see that, dad?!!!! And that Chicken sandwich for lunch yesterday!!!!!!!! Augghhhhh!!!!!!! I'm Glad PT 1 made you do 10 Situps and ten pushups!!!! He let you go easy though, your lucky, I'm not the exercise dude!!! I would have you do twenty! I can't believe you were panting like a sweaty dog when you only did twenty things!!!! And PT 1 is only gonna let you slip with 11 pushups and situps!! I would add 5 stuff to each thing!!!(Sorry If your not getting this) So you would be doing 15 pushups and 15 situps!!!!!!!!!
OK, I'm done with that.
Now.... I'm also making his lunches, so he eats healthy. And I call him at lunch time to make sure he's eating the right thing!
OK, I think I got every thing..... I hope. Ahhhh............. Now I have to make the test material's lunch for tomorrow.

The Father's Day Challenge
Okay, My kids have been after me for a awhile to eat right and lose some weight. So after constant harassing from the kids, I have enlisted them as personal trainers for the summer. Although the first day was actually Monday after feasting "steak kabobs" at Chili's for Fathers Day lunch and my last taste of an Oreo Cookie Sunday evening at my sister's house (It was stale too). Things didn't actually get intense until today, when after yesterdays lunch of Burger King Chicken Sandwich and fries I was "Busted" by the personal trainers. So then my lunch was then made for me and I was subjected to 10 sit ups and push ups. So now it's on! We have decided that our goal is 20 lbs by Labor Day. We will be watching calories and developing an exercise plan. All I have to do is follow orders of the 2 PT's. Personal Trainer #1 - Nathan, 9 years old will be developing the exercise plan, and enforcing it's progress. Personal Trainer # 2 - Andy also 9 will be monitoring the calorie intake and "STRICKLY" demanding compliance. Then add to all this the official referee - Mom, will be commenting from time to time. Also in the fray will be the distractor - JG - 2 and lovin it. The following is a recent pic of the future former "supersized me"
